Paste an address. Thirty seconds later: roof area measured, pitch classed, access called, and a read of rust, moss and obstructions from satellite and Street View. Then a quote sheet with your rates on it.
No account, no card. A key arrives by email. Bundles from $99+GST when you want more.
RoofReport gives you the measurements and a look at the roof from your desk. Drive to the ones worth driving to, with a number already in your head.
From the phone call, the web enquiry, the text. Pick the job: reroof, paint, wash, gutters, solar, insulation.
Google Maps gives every roof face: area, pitch, direction. Satellite and Street View get pulled and read by AI for rust, moss, obstructions, cladding, access.
A quote sheet with the quantities filled: m² of roof, metres of eave, litres, panels. Type your rates once, they're remembered.
PDF for the job file. A link for the office. Red flags tell you what to check on site. Or don't go at all.
Coverage is Google's: nearly every urban and suburban roof in NZ, patchier in rural areas and brand-new subdivisions. When there's no roof model, the report says so and you're not charged.
One credit, one report. Credits last 12 months from your latest top-up. No subscription, no seat licences, the whole office can share one key.
Secure card payment via Stripe, GST invoice emailed. No roof model, no charge. Already a TapHappy client with a quote tool? Ask about reports built into your enquiry flow.
Put in three addresses you've already quoted. If the numbers aren't close enough to be useful, you've lost nothing. Your key arrives by email in under a minute.
It is sourced from Google Maps so on a standard house it's usually within a few percent of a tape measure. Complex roofs with lots of small faces can read a little under. The report shows every face so you can sanity-check it against the picture.
Most of urban and suburban NZ, all main centres and regional towns. Rural properties and subdivisions built in the last couple of years may have no model yet. When that happens the report says so and the credit isn't used.
Anything the imagery can't: chalking, lifted fixings, soft timber, what's under the moss. Imagery can be many years old, so every report shows its date, with a warning when it's over two years. Treat the condition read as a first look, not an inspection. The red flags are the list to check when you do go.
No. The sheet is for you: measured quantities times your rates, remembered on your device. What you quote the customer is your call.
Yes. One key, shared, with a credit balance. Buy more and the balance tops up. Every report has a link that opens without the key for 90 days, so the office can send one to the crew.
That's what it was built for. TapHappy builds enquiry tools for NZ trades, and on those the report runs automatically when a customer enters their address, so the enquiry email arrives with the roof already measured. Ask Ryan.
Addresses are sent to Google for geocoding and imagery and to the AI for the condition read, the same as looking the place up on Google Maps. Reports are kept 90 days so links work, then deleted. Nothing is shared with anyone else.
Unused credits in the first 14 days, refunded in full, just reply to the key email. After that they're yours for 12 months.
